Anyone know of any FREE software that will play DVDs on me PC. I obviously have a DVD player on there, and used to have a program that would let me run films, but I lost it.

I got a copy of WinDVD, but it only allows 5mins before stopping:(

Short of going the *gasp* warez route (which I obviously don't condone in any way at all ;) ), you're kinda stuck.

There is this:
http://www.videolan.org/

but it's still in the beta stages, and is cross-platform with linux, so it looks like ass. But it might work ok for you, didn't seem too bad here...

LOL, np, 20 quid, schmid. If I must then I will but some. My daughter wants to watch Shrek and she was having a bit of a paddy when I came to work, cos it jus gets going and then stops.

I got a gf2 last Tues, so I'll check the disk when I get home.

Thanks guys.

Should be on there somewhere, although if not it looks like you'll have to go down the warez route
