DVD Ripping!

I wanted to know.... is there a straightforward way of ripping a movie from DVD to Mpeg2/VCD format??

Anybody with any info PLEAZE msg here!

BTW...I shall use this info for totally legal, videoz with no copyrightz only

The answer is no.

Simple enough. Even if you bought a top of the range DVD RAM, you couldn't duplicate them. This subject has been banded about the US boards for what seems like forever, as the DVD/DIVX argument rages. The cheapest option costs around $50,000
