DVD Print Screens

Using XP with the Print Screen key, i paste my image into photoshop, the dvd window is always blanked out, this happens in PowerDVD and WMP, any ideas why, and how i can go about getting it to work?

There is a technical reason for this, same applies to TV tuners too, but you should be able to find a ScreenDump button on the software, I'm sure PowerDVD has got one.

It's that macrovision barlocks rearing its ugly head again. Same reason that I can't just use clone screen anymore for my tv-out and just fullscreen the player window.

Only way I found to get rid of it was to uninstall the nVidia detonator drivers and reinstall my Asus ones. That worked great but you have to put up with crappy old drivers.

I expect if you search around enough you'll find some sort of registry fix to get rid of the bloody thing.

It's to do with the way video is overlayed. As Xane says use the screeny button.
