DV Groupsteps - 1930 GMT Thursday 26th October

Hi folks - i'll be running a DV Groupsteps series due to a lot of people not having been able to do them before todays (Sundays) ML7 bg steps raid.

Group setup
Friar/Heretic: Decent rejuv please - youre secondary healer...Friar with fop is poss again please or at least able to bring a bb with it.
Servant Necro / Icer: Goes without saying...
Theurg/Wiz/2nd Necro: Any spec is fine on this slot - just for more dps.
Cleric: 30+ in rejuv please - no buff-bots - with fop preferably.
Paladin/Arms: 42 or better in shield please guys - no parry/pole'ers
Reaver/Arms/Scout: Again - lets have a bit in shield at least eh
Tank/Healer slot: Anything from a mercfiltrator to a rejuv cleric to a s/s spec Reaver here.
Last Slot: Body sorc (Me = Hesy)

Signup is on a first come first served basis. We leave AT 1930 GMT - please be online and in the BG that will be open on HESY at 1915. Meeting point is Volcanus haven. We will then port into DV as usual and proceed to farm all suitable mobs - if we get a particuarly good group-mix then I will attempt to do Flame a few times also - otherwise we will just do all the groupsteps.

Loot rules - everyone takes one drop home with them AT THE END not before - all will do /random 1000 when stuck to me after my yell. Highest picks first, 2nd highest 2nd etc etc. Only doing one loop through the loot that i'll be holding, and only lottoing 99/MP items or scrolls/legendary bits

I will be aiming to finish the raid by 1030 at the very latest - depending on what the group mix is etc etc etc.

i would sugest 1 pally with 50 shield 1 arms/reaver with 50 shield and high mob 2 icers 2 clerics 2 randoms and bot outside...and u can do grp steps very fast...bring 2 pallys instead and u can have them pull 1 faction each and speed up the process...but thats my copper...i would join with pally if i was playing but daoc is no more fun now

Might have to call on you for some cleric-sorc dual logging action given that we seem to be struggling for cleric/healer signups - or else you can triple log icer/sorc/cleric again!

Slight amendment to the group setup based on signups - sorry if you didnt get a spot - if theres lots of leftover people i'll run a second one next week sometime:

Icewiz: Civ/stalagtiet
Cleric: Shirr
Serv Necro Stompie (please bring your bb for buffs)
Shield Reaver: Sunderland (please bring your cleric also for buffs)
Shield Arms: Angarok
Body Sorc: Hesy
2nd Cleric: Sygnet/Elle
Mercfiltrator: Can'tFindMe

So to summarise the group mix is : Icer/Cleric/Cleric/Necro/Reaver/Arms/Sorc/Mercfiltrator

If you have a BB that can enter the zone and haven't declared it, please feel free to bring it along - no such thing as too many FOPs.


We'll probably have the serv necro alternating pulls with the reaver/arms to mean we can chain pull without end - i'll debuff and nuke, the icer will nuke, and the mercfiltrator will beat on whatevers being naughty at the time

Based on this setup, and with everyone playing well it should be a piece of cake See you at 1920 folks - anyone who can't make it please please please tell me tomorrow night before midnight as its the last chance i'll have to check FH and sort a replacement if needed.
