I am now selling high quality Duskwood composite bows (not great ones yet, need more funds to do that)

99% shimmering duskwood composite bow - 650g
98% shimmering duskwood composite bow - 400g
97% shimmering duskwood composite bow - 350g

all the bows have:
35% bonus
16.2 dps
4.0 spd

they dont have +bow or +dex but their high quality means they out damage Death Whisper/Runic Mystwood Bow, and the 35% bonus means fewer misses. my damage cap with the bow is 722 damage (61 bow including items and realm rank), Death Whisper is 723 (with 64 bow), but i hit cap far more often with duskwood. (if you have any doubt regarding crafted bows vs. dropped bows, try asking someone that have tried them)

the bows come with free repairs, just come see me in the battlefield.

I now have 999 fletching which is the highest before next patch, this means im now also making high quality Duskwood great composite bows.

99% shimmering duskwood great composite bow - (cant be made until next patch)
98% shimmering duskwood great composite bow - 450g
97% shimmering duskwood great composite bow - 400g
96% shimmering duskwood great composite bow - 350g

all the bows have:

4.7 spd


(note both comp and great comp comes unenchanted, enchanting them costs 17g/23g)

edit: dps on great bow is "only" 16.1

How the hell did you get so high?

As one fletcher to the other i have already spent 1300 gold going from 650 - 675, how have you got so high so quick I am keen on becoming a better fletcher myself. Can you offer any tips

- i had 14,093g from sponsors
- around your current craft skill, i farmed a TON of asterite in Spindelhalla (about 1,000g worth)
- from level 43-46 i was killing bone eater oracles (i think that worth 1,500-2,000g)
- about 2p more from my leveling
- i've had people help me on money hunts, where the profits went to my crafting (thank you Radorm, Eroa, Blejsraus, Souleater and more)(dont have any numbers there unfortunately)

i ran out of money around 960 skill, but then i sold some bows, and presold some bows, and managed to climb up with some of farming again.

Some people think my prices are high, and i am usually making a profit now, but fx. like the other day 2 people had ordered 98% duskwood great bows, and i had run out of those.. cost me 1.5p in attempts to make them, since i use a fixed price list, that meant a 600g loss. And as you see i have alot of people to repay...

Anyway, im not going to horde tons of plat, just enough to afford making quality stuff, the rest is going back into the realm.. other crafters & doors

so my tip to you would be not to bother going higher, until you have close to 20p saved up.

ps. if anyone are still using those dropped bow (like Ice Bone Prey Killer )

bow +4 Soulpiercers Gauntlets
bow +4 Darksteel Bracer (or Dragon Etched Bracer) (2 stk)
bow +2 Frozen Cyclops Eye

Totals Bow +10, if you still think a 7-11% quality difference dropped bows are worth it for +1 skill, and +13 dex, well you are fooling your self.. so go out and item hunt

Dragon Etched Bracers drops in Malmohus
Frozen Cyclops Eye drops from cyclops in Raumarik (mine dropped from Hugi)

price increase

apparently at 999 skill it is _very_ hard to make 98% bows, i've tried alot recently and burned off 2p just trying, so im forced to increase the price for this bow some.

98% shimmering duskwood great composite bow - 650g

after next patch 1.49, the price will return to 450g.
after patch 1.51 i expect to cut all prices to half.
