Durability question

When loading daoc, one gets tips, one of them says "an item below 70% dur will no longer affect you"

Does that mean that now u have to repair ur jewelry, even if it has no skill?

Did any of u have jewelry, that went below 70%?

If so, is it the same with artis?

its at 70% con u lose the skills btw you lose dur when u repair

arties dont lose dur any more

you can leave jewery at 70%con if it dont have skills still

Think that champ weapons and the new epic armors doesnt loose durability either , not sure though

Champ weapons should be repaired anyways, for focus (afaik) and dmg, if melee

Durability makes no difference to anything apart from how many more times you can repair it. An item on 1 durability and an item on 100 durability will work exactly the same. Arties, champ weapons and the new Epics don't lose durability when you repair them.

Con affects the DPS of weapons, the AF of armour and the focus bonus for staves. If the con drops below 70% then any +skill bonuses stop being applied. Other than that con makes no difference to jewellery and stuff that doesn't have either an AF or a DPS (like cloaks).

con cant go below 70% but other than that you are correct. there is no point repairing items unless they are armour or a weapon or have +skills on them.
