No they won't, unless you have a boot disc of some kind.

Europe/Ausralia = PAL
North America = NTSC (Will not work on European consoles & Vice Versa)

Can't remember what Jap games are, most likely NTSC as well.

Iirc, you can get your PS2 chipped so it allows import games.

The ps2 chip is a bit expensive to have fitted and in all honesty a bit of a bitch to install yourself.

Ono recommended a good place that supplies you with a kit but....

There are something like 24 solder connections to be made on the messiah 2 chip I think. Some of them aren't to pads either but directly onto vias. This means if you shag it you could effectively **** your ps2. If you can afford to I would get someone to do it for you. They can charge somewhere around 60 - 85 quid for it though.

If you can let me know what model PS2 youve got i may be able to supply you with a nosolder chip but youll need an action replay for that. This will cater for the 'chipping' side of things but i think AR's also allow imports aswell.

I've still got my chip sat at home on my desk. I opened up my PS2 and then got really scared and closed it again :D

the AR chip doesnt like DVD games, the messiah chip is the best if you can get somebody else to fix it in for you.

Useful out here as they're a mixture of NTSC and PAL games
