Dumb question about crossbows

I got my Armswoman up to level 15 today and excitedly went and bought a crossbow and have bolts from my trainer. I put crossbow in the right slot and made a shortcut to it on my quickbar. I can get the crossbow in my hands but no idea how to fire it at all...

I feel stupid... please help?

Thank you! It most definitely did work, mainly the bit about double-clicking as I don't have a style in crossbows as yet, no idea if I ever get them - probably not.

you dont get styles in xbow, but training in it will increase the damage the xbow deals.

Be careful though. Unless you have a char like mine - 41 polesman thats found parry almost useless - dont put more than 10 points into xbow, just use it for pulling on the 1 point.

Xbow is excellent for keep defence though, or the Milegate scuffles. My armsman only has 3.5k RP, and about 3000 of that has come from using my xbow
