News of the heavily delayed Duke Nukem Forever, which continues to be a source of laughter has appeared out of the blue.

3d Realms recently had to force the closure of a group working on a Half-Life 2, Duke Nukem mod, claiming it does not allow any of its intellectual property to be used in conversions for other game engines.

This forced 3D Realms to comment on its continued development with Duke Nukem Forever, pointing out the game will be making an appearance at E3 this year, in some form.

thats just daft, when they last released a trailer for it, they let some other company make a shite side scroller game and charged £30 fo it.

this mod if it woulda been any good would helped em.

The only other game with this protracted of a development cycle was Daikatana, and look at how ground breakingly brilliant and playable that was.
