Duelsday 5 Kick off soon

well i just thought i would start off the topic now to make shoure we all get a nice Buzz started for DD-5
shame i cant post a poll on what map as to use for DD-5
tbh i would like to know if you guys would like to have the duelsday_2 map used for this Duelsday event.

i know some of you have it and a lot of you may not but its now avalible for download from JK2Files
and you can download it from HERE

please give it a nice vote [say about 10 ] and a nice little bit of text underneath to pimp duelsday events and give some nice reviews on the map it's self.

It would sure be fun, and appropriate to use that map for DD5. So I vote yes,

I would strongly recommend, if this map is going to be used, that kosh will be making very clear that this map is going to be used, also make sure everybody knows that quite some time before the start. Modem users need to download it to, and that would be a pain in the arse if they found out only 10 minutes in advance of their match.

well i would sujest ^kosh get to pimping duelsday 5 NOW before its too late i mean leaving it till a week before dd5 would be a big mistake too

best pimp it on JK2Files and jediknightII.net asap, maybe even give JP of ravengames.com an email to see if he can help promote dd5 too.

when you do send emails to these guys maybe you should also include details on Duelsday 5 and the url for the duelsday_2 map also [just incase]

We already had 32 players 2 weeks ago when my original timescale said DD5 was going to be happening this tuesday. Since then we where given till the 15th so with loads of time on our hands I sent out a batch email to people saying they where playing and left it at that. Pimping wouldn't be that useful this time round. However LAMM had 7 players in DD5 so I think I need to chase Kosh up to find out what's going on with those guys.

I got an email from LAMM's new spokesman saying they're pulling out of all comps for the time being however duels day is an individual event so we need to fire off emails to the players themselves and see what they want to do

Other than that, we have the players already

humm I'm thinking i might quit jk2 all together but it will be a shame to see my admin talents go to wast

DD5 standard maps....i decided not to bugger uo frags setup , ill leave the buggering up to DD6... DD6 WILL have grays map ....LAMM wize ive got 2 replys to get sofar there in

humm looks like lamm have HOGED the duelsday slots then.

With LAMM pulling their people out caused some problems as we'd all but closed the signups. However I wouldn't be supprised if 2 or 3 slots have now opened up.
