Duelling

I was having a natter with a Guildie late last night about what is and what is not acceptable in Realm Duelling (as opposed to frontier stuff).

I'd like people's views on this please - for example.

Is using IP acceptable? I fought a Pally last night - he used all his chants, but not Faith Heal. I didnt use IP. It was really close at the end, in fact it came down to who got the next hit in, we were both that low. He did, and I died.

IP and Purge are powerful RAs to use in a duel. But the question is:

Is it fair to use those abilities and other manual RAs, and is it honourable?

RA fights are a little impractical, cause yours might be up and your opponents down, so take it for granted that actives RA's are not allowed to be used, unless agreed before hand...Things like increase fumbles on a merc..are allowed to be used at the descresion of the person due to the fact it is built in to the makeup of the char/ as with healers using instas ofc =>

People who object to kiting in duels are clearly numpties.
Without kiting its kinda pointless even challenging a lot of classes. You're a tank; ergo in melee you thrash non-tanks, it's not hard :p

If you want to use IP or FH in a duel you should make it known before hand.

Personally I can't stand people that keep circle strafing in duels, its just silly and lame lol and doesn't have any benefit over someone using /face anyway except for making your dizzy lol.
