Since Blokkie set the trend, the duels today at HB been amazing

so i think to settle confusion between Realms here is what we shuld do

If you want to start a duel use - /Beckon

If u want a duel but need power/abilities up use - /Yes /Raise <Raising hand as if to say wait a sec>

Thx today from some grt battles, didnt beat u once blokkie u git u block too much lol. Nattrun was close we can call that a draw. Frozus Goddamn u hit hard, nasty champ. As for the vamps , Ulise im suprised i beat u , wasnt expecting that but then i had heard friars were good vamp killers. Anyone else wanna Duel u know where to come. Itcan be like the Film Fight Club, only called Thid Club lol.

Yeah, duels are nice at the moment . I almost feel guilty for being so lucky vs Frozus though .

Btw.. apolagies to anyone we kill.. we do try to stop on 10-5% hp, but occasionally u do a Crit or hit too hard..

So dont take it too bad, even Blokkie accidently killed me earlier lol

And also very big thx to how calm everyone is, even when other realms added on us no one went ape shit lol

Off course, everybody plays how they want, but when you meet together with other people to duel it is convenient to have some form of communication. Knighthood only posted this thread so the emotes would not be misunderstood, he is not trying to force these rules upon anyone else. Keeping this in mind the thread would probably have been better off with 'inter-realm communication' as title .

To Quarterstaff: nice screenshot, but I don't think I'm the undisputed champion. If I remember correctly that lime green hero's beaten me and Mongokinky has as well .

The thing is because there is no inter realm communication u cant tell who is going to duel and who is just going to kick your ass ... I often come across people who im not sure and they most of the time just run me over and then there are some who dont do anything, or those that dont do anything for a second and THEN kick my ass...

all so confusing

then u got the people who when you are dueling who will stealth up behind you and you can SEE THEM COMING and then they own u ...

Thankyou Blokster, your right i guess the title was a bit poxy. Sorry it came across wrong , yes im not telling people they have to duel lol, it was merely for the Main bunch of us that do - do these duels , it was just so that we could communicate easier. This is in no way x-realming, we dont suddenly turn on the other realm <although if were duelling and someone adds we generally both kick thier ass lol>. Like i said , 90% of the time we stop on 5-10% hp. Not farming each other for RP , i dont know blokkie or ulise or any of the others in RL or MSN, i just know OF THEM, and so when i see Blokkie i never run in and hit him

Yes was fun today mates, me and my mate suzorf went for a few runs unbuffed... and were happy to see the duelling area at HB
Was nice fighting some of u ppl, and blok u were quite hard as usual *(though u were lucky that fight with blocks imo
Was nice to c u on a frair kinghthood, was nice to cu kicking other ppls ass (though not mine )

Been a blast at duel spot laterly alot of like minded people showing up. Had/seen some really nice fights<though they tend to end up with my arse on a plate lol>. Hopefully it keeps up and i see you all there 2mrw

sounds all very good, but remember dueling is against the coc and some nasty little sprites might report you guys and so on.

only way round it would be to fight to the death and the loser has to release, if they are rez'd it could be considered rp farming.

Well tbh it isnt, its against CoC to prearrange Duels for RP , these werent prearranged, it just started up randomly cos people know blokkie likes to duel. And as stated we try out hardest to not finish off the opponent. I do see your point though , but lets be honest, anyone who did sink low enuf to report us is a bit of a dick, and i doubt GoA would care enuf to Ban 12 accounts for having thier own bit of fun. (And woohoo 4rp per kill, such farmage ^_~ )

I think these duels are great fun. If they somehow are against CoC in any way, then mythic should implement this in their game as a feature. Obviously, it is something that everyone (or very many) wants. Never seen so much activity in bg1 that it has been recently.

I like the idea of posting on Fh saying what emotes mean what (was gona post it myself if noone else did ) all i would like to add is a emote for saying "im not buffed u are"

atm i tend to use /dismis but people may get wrong idea of that

Lol yeah was unfair Froze was buffed vs me friar, not gonna beat a fully kitted out buffed up champ lol. Grt thing is my Friar squashes vamps <Dont argue i got many witnesses > and theyre technicly buffed. Yay for Crush dmg vs hib leather

If I run to hib bridge (where most set duels are) then get close to the person you are gonna duel and drop all buffs. Problem solved!

Get Mythic to design a portal in the BG's that send u to a room where u can duel and gain no rp and no res sick apon death. Just pop up 5 secs after.

Ofc theese kind of duels are against the CoC, since you're setting up rules about how to behave in theese "random" duels

...tho I really don't care, but don't whine when alb/hib/mid -zerg turns up and wipes out all "duelers" ...
