Hope its not as bad as it looked on the telvision this morning.

It wasn't actually in Dubai - it was in Abu Dhabi. Accident happened between Abu Dhabi city and Jebel Ali.

Idiots driving in fog too fast with hazard lights on instead of using headlights and fog lamps. over 150 vehicles involved, number of deaths is different depending on source. Lots of pics here, nothing too gory:

It amazes me how bad the roads are in some countries, I'll always remember that video of a busy intersection in an asian country with cars just going pell-mell and avoiding eachother by inches, and it seemed like it was the norm or something... scares me really, you think of some of the idiots on our roads in the UK, but they're nothing when compared with some of the things that go on
