Dual screen query?

Righty ho
Just got dual screen goodness here at work, and I've encountered a slight problem when playing cs. Basically I've got a sony trinitron multiscan 400 ps crt monitor on the left, and a samsung syncmaster 171p tft on my right, both in the same gfx card (gforce 4 ti4200).
Basically my problem is when I'm not working and farting about instead, I want like irc and stuff on the tft and cs to be running on the crt. This works fine until I click on irc, cs gets minimized like I've alt-tabbed out of it. Was wondering if anyone knew how I could stop cs (and other games) from doing that?

got the same problem here.
Only way i could kinde solve it was starting the games that support it in windowed mode.
but be carefull you dont even have a pixel of the game on the second screen or your performance will take a big hit

your lucky...some games I have totally freak when I try to run them with two monitors plugged in and hang the system...
