Dual core prob..

Any ideas on how i sort the dual core problem..? i go ld if dont shut down one of em. Do i really have to do this?

I ld when i play daoc jusing both CPU 0 and CPU 1. If i ctrl + alt + del and only juse 1 for daoc i dont ld. Loads have this problem.

that's still rather vague(sp?) ill start of by asking what clients are you running? and how much ram do you have?

iirc a guild m8 had a prob like that ..his cpu was amd and he got a patch from amd weby ... but that was like 6-8 months ago..

set your CPU task priority to 'background services'


Also you can try some different core allocations i.e.

game.dll (1) to core 1 - game.dll (2) to core 2

or

game.dll (1) to core 1 and 2 - game.dll (2) to core 2

or

game.dll (1) to core 1 - game.dll (2) to core 1 and 2



If its still a problem try turning sound off on your BB acount.

He doesn't have problems with dual logging, he has problems playing with dual core CPU by using both cores :p With Intel its probably because of moon position and with AMD you probably need that patch (Dual-core optimizer).
