DSL settings

Hi. I just got DSL and am looking for some help regarding my EF settings, naimly the Rate and Snaps.
My ping averages 50 on servers close to me but rockets to 170 ish on US servers.
Any advice ?

dont go on USA servers settings can be /com_maxfps 65 or whatever ur graphcis card is.

er thats his frames per second settings bond, hes on about connection stuff ie snaps rate etc.
