Just walked into game 30mins ago and they are selling them now picked 1 up + any 2 games of choice for £125.

Looks light years better then the original and the new screen brings the colours out better.

I went and picked up a Black DS Lite yesterday and had a quick spin.

found that my left hand cramps up really easily when using it tho :(

need to get one of those thumb stylus ones, since playing metroid Prime on the DS Lite with a stylus is awkward.

Now i need to find myself a wireless hotspot

Animal Crossing is cool :) alot to do but sometimes it feels like a kids game with the things you do.

That game where your a doctor cutting people open is pretty fun.

I said I wouldnt part with my old one but I caved in and traded it in for a shiny black on today.

It really does look the bollocks. I got a copy of wild world at the same time. I have yet to understand the actual point of this game yet.

I'll have to check out the friend code thread I think.

There isn't a point to the game as such.. its not a story driven game as such you just do what you want build your town up find all the secrets (there is tons btw) Its the sort of game i play on my lunch break or 30mins before i go to bed.

Hey, what router are you using? I had issues with my DS and dlink router - that is until I flashed it with an Aussie firmware ;)

Yes, buy it immediately. While it doesn't have much replay value once finished, it's a good and original game. Breath of fresh air in the smog that is rehashed sports titles and cloned fps games.

Ditto!

I went out and bought my DS Lite (black) on Friday.

I've since bought:

Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training: How old is your Brain?
Phoenix Wright
New Super Mario Brothers
Trauma Center: Under the Knife
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

I haven't got around to playing Mario or Splinter Cell as I've been thoroughly addicted to the other games, particularly Trauma Center (I lose whole hours to this game!).

I'm tempted by "Lost Magic", "Metroid Prime: Hunters" and "Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow". I saw someone else mention Castlevania and I remember one of the earlier versions on my gameboy. Has anyone had any other experiences of these games e.g. Lost Magic etc and what are they like?

Also, where do ppl get their games? Is there a good online place to buy?

Castlevania is tremendous.

Metroid prime is fairly boring and repetitive. Boss fights are mostly clones of each other. Online play is restricted to deathmatch style unless you have the person added as a friend.

Where the hell can you get Castlevania for a decent price for? Not seen it anywhere for less than £30.

I bought mine at a Game store in Dundee. They were selling it for 24.99.

Not great but better than not owning it.

Yeah, I'd like to know that too!

Theres some copies of eBay but it seems they're not much cheaper than £30 by the time u add p&p on top.

Also, anyone know much about DS Homebrew etc? Or can recommend a good site to get-up to speed with it all? I've seen there are some good PDA-ish homebrew apps floating around the web and I'm tempted to try them out.

Anyone had any experience with these sort of things?
