Ok, I love my DS, but I was thinking of trying to get a little more out of it.

From what I can see I have two choices.

I can either get a MK3 (MagicKey 3) for $69.99 or I can go for the M3 Adapter SD w/ Passkey2 for $92.99.

Has anyone got either of these and know why one is cheaper than the other?

Knew you'd have one of the two Yaka :)

I'm tempted with the MK3 for similar reasons (i.e I already have a 1GB mini-SD card that will fit it and a 256MB Flash cart). But having done some more reading today it seems the compatbility for DS games is only at about 60%, there are slow load times and a lot of the Homebrew won't work at all :(

Oh and what UK reatilers stock them?

m3 has no slow loading times and if you be wanting ds games on it then id suggest a bigger flash cart and the roms etc have to be patched.

tbh ive only got few of my games had backed up on it saves having to carry carts about but liike i said it is bulky. my bro mainly uses it for homebrew programming as side hobby

Got the M3 and Passkey 3 today.

The passkey 3 is the same size a normal DS cart and slots right in. The mini-sd M3 adapter I got sticks out of the unit maybe 3mm.

Very impressed. Very easy to use.

Time to play all those NES games now :)

Here you go. In the first pic you can see the PassCard as it's now known. Next to it is a standard DS card for comparison of size.

Next is the PassCard splash screen.

Last is the Mini-SD version of the M3 Movie player. As you can see, it's hardly noticeable.

More than worth £71. In theory, it could save me around £7000 ;)

And as it works with the NDS Lite I'm thinking of trading in my DS in GAME to get one for £69.99 :)

How cool is this?

Blimey, that's just crazy :(

</hijack>

How reliable are these homebrew apps/hardware thingies by the by, are they likely to brick me DS?

Whipped,

I've sent you a privtae message on where you got your M3 (SD) from in the UK. In fact does anymore know of a reliable seller. One that has it in stock.

Thanks.
