Lo Doods :)

I purchased This it contains The Theory and the New Hazrd Perce[tion test. Well On the mock exam of the Hazard test how many videos do you have to watch, for people who have or have used it?

I finish one after it has looped by Right clicking and abort clip, it then goes through about 5-10 more, is this right?

There are 14 in the real exam.

Oh and that CD rom is shit, if you click above 6 times or so it says your cheating. While the real test takes the length of the clip into account and you can get away with many hundreds more clicks.

its more like 15-20 clicks.

and if you need to click that much then you dont deserve to pass the theory

i thought that to. on one i kept clicking to fill the bottom bit up just to see what it would throw back at me. didnt get anything about cheating, its if you click too fast that its classed as cheating.

Wahey!

I've been practising with this same software for the past couple of weeks. I had my Theory Test today and passed. I only spent about 8 minutes on the multiple choice bit, and scored 31 out of 35. The pass mark for that bit is 30, so perhaps I should have taken a bit more time, but a pass is a pass.

I got 59 out of a possible 75 for the hazard perception bit. Pass mark for that is 44. This was the part of the test where the practice really paid off. I knew exactly what to expect, what kind of things they classed as defelovoping hazards, and the CD-ROM simulated the test very well. I got:

On the double hazard clip: 8
On 3 clips: 5
On 7 clips: 4
On 2 clips: 3
On 1 clip: 2

My advice for anyone still to sit this is - click the mouse when you see ANYTHING that might be a hazard, developing or not. Then click again a few seconds later if it's still a hazard. That way you stand to maximise your score, which is based on how early you click after a hazard appears.

You sat your's yet Darth?

LOL.... didn't spot that one. You'd never guess I work for a newspaper typesetting adverts would you? In my defence, I had a few beers last night, woke up at 7.30am, sat my theory test this afternoon, and I haven't eaten yet. Mmmhhh.... pretty poor defence.

I think I actually lost points on one of the hazard videos because I pre-empted the hazzard way before it actaully happened.

The video was me coming up to a narrow stone bridge. I just click cause I figured, "well a car is bound to come flying over that" ;) Then it did and I forgot to click again.
