Dragonfang

It doesn't surprse me so many Infs are choosing the route of 50 Thrust so they can acquire the Dragonfang style. Here's a reminder of the description:-

Thrust lvl 50 Dragonfang Low fatigue cost, use after evading target, medium bonus damage, long duration stun, high bonus to hit, small penalty to defense

Once again I get into a scrap with an Inf (Nicolas this time round) and no surprises he evades my moves early on in the fight and I'm left stunned for 9 seconds while he kicks seven bells out of me. In contrast, some of my best moves are followed by executing styles (and even then there is no long duration stun among them). I have 44 in Critical Strike yet I can never get past Hamstring to execute the remaining styles (Leaper and Rib Seperation) as 95% of the time they are either blocked/parried/evaded.

I'm not sure the point of soloing anymore Infs that I know have lvl 50 Thrust as the outcome always seems to be the same.

Agreed... give shadowblades 10 sec insta stun to make them more equal :)

I can't solo <that class> :whine:

kinda normal you dont have a long duration stun: you can PA an infil for 70%(without poison) and you wanna have a stun too.............

get purge.

i know why not give me plate a spear an insta ae nuke that hurts for 200000000000000 dmg then i can kill everything and ill be happy

seriously zilly what can a wiz do after you pa him?
what can any caster do?
what can a scout do (ok maybe slam but he aint gunna out melee you)

assasins pis me off they find one class or get owned a few times and there liek bah give us something so we can beat them or nerf that class. RvR is supposed to be balenced not 3 assasin classes own all

I have not suggested SBs should get a long duration stun move. Also I would find getting 70 % of health down of any Lvl 50 Inf with Perf these days a miracle and especially now due to the slash resist they get :) Plus it's hard to uncover a lvl 50 Inf with good stealth let alone managing to PA him/her at the same time.

Ok calm down, now take a deep breath. If you read up I have not suggested SBs get anything more than what we have already and I know I piss you off (I piss a lot of people off let's face it). I am simply suggesting that Infs pulling off a 9 second duration stun move simply by evading an attack is unfair.

That's it in a nutshell. Call me a bitter SB if it makes you feel better I understand. :)

okies its unfair all assasins get pa a wizard dont stand a chance against you simply pulling a move off from stealth

Nope I didn't use IP, I used First Aid II and I didn't get back full health (but hey I lost cons and was being DOT'd for 80 damage from your poisons). And nope I didn't want to fight you so close to the path while Albs were running back and forth, afterall this was not long after you lost your relic and I intended to stay around a bit longer thanks very much. ;)

And also, me and Kull started to look for you soon after but we never found you again.

ul find most of the infis have that insta heal thing i dont bother trying to find Sbs/Infs its too much work plus u aint gonna out mele an infi with 50 weapon spec:).

tbh i think Sbs pretty much suck they are really slow at mele there PA is really strong and if they get you 80% of the time u will die.

But last night i was attacked by a SB evaded his PA lol thats how slow they are.

I been having alot of fun with tanks latley i PA +combo usual stuff +DOT+snare run off restealth and do the same again its pretty funny tbh:D

I know what you mean about parry (and so does Creep)

A recent 1 v 1 in the gorge and I was at less than half before I had hit him. We then stood toed to toe and as my life dripped away, parry kicked in and I parried him 6 TIMES on the trot to win the fight with nothing left on my HP bar.

PARRY ROCKS WHEN 1 v 1

especially when you have 43 base, +11 with items, +3 with Realm Rank and Mastery of Parrying 2 ( +12 points) totalling 69 :) :) :) :)

You can't evade PA. Failed PA yes.

Don't use 2-handers... Specced CB? Should've gone 5-spec or SZ ;)

Me too, that's why I went looking for you again :) To be honest it was risky attacking anyone after you all realised your relic was gone as there were hundreds of Albs (literally) running up and down the path leading from FS gates to your relic keep.

Hmm. Let's have a quick poll of how much slash resist us level 50 infs have. Well, epic armour has 4% (or is it 6%, something around that). And errr... that's about all I have. Doesn't come close to wiping off the vulnerability of leather vs. slash.

So, if there's anyone who can recommend some good Albion slash resist items, I could do with some.

Maybe I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one as I tend to notice high level Minstrels having more than Infs.

+15% slash resist from chain

I wasn't trying to get slash resist at all (not really a big issue when you wear chain) and have 23%. Minstrels get slash resist incredibly easily. :) Thrust resist however...
