Dragon Raid - Thursday 8th July (Experimental Setup)

Although my previously run 12 dragon raids have all been a 100% success, with some comments made last week I am willing to try a somewhat different group setup to try and include ANY class or SPEC. My only limitation to this new setup is you MUST BE LEVEL 50 to apply. There will be some similarities to my opted group raids but will try to include all specs of all classes if possible.

The rules for loot will be the same as normal: 2 stones (1 ra and 1 full skill) to all members of groups 1-3 and the last 2 stones lotto'd to group4. The uber drops will be lotto'd between all members of all 4 groups. If you wish to roll for a different class to the one you play on the raid that alt must also be level 50.

Plz post below with your CLASS, EXACT SPEC, REALM ABILITIES, ML LEVEL & ABILITIES, class you wish to roll for, and any other information you feel relevant (cold resist, toa bonuses etc).

Meeting place is West Skona Horse Merchant 6.30pm-7pm uk (7:30pm-8pm cet) with a move out to malmo as soon after 7pm as we can. I hope to have the BG open at 6.30pm.

Please note: This experimental raid is in ADDITION to my normal wednesday opted group raid and if it succeeds I may well carry on doing 2 raids a week for as long as the hair in my beard doesn't turn totally grey and until Aremeriel's pain killers run out

I will post PROVISIONAL groups hopefully by Tuesday night (6th July).

I am a little disappointed Bluesky that cause of one or two whiners last week you are gonna waste your thursday night. While i enjoy the social occasion of the DR and likewise enjoy the rewards, part of the attraction is the success. If your sacrificing this to appease 1 or 2 people that aren't worth the time and effort then i think you are sending out a message that backing down to the lamers is the way forward.

Your call i guess, but your unbeaten run may end.

While I do understand your points Inca I will no way be treating this as a waste of time tho m8y - I have thought about doing a different setup for a while but with the 100% success of my normal opted group raids I dont see a prob in trying something else ASWELL as keeping up the normal wednesday night opted group setup When i go through my spreadsheet planning the group setups I feel sorry for the regular g4 ppl who apply like Xenja, Ixoth, Bertol, Lothar and others who, if they were put in groups1-3, would make success much harder, if at all, so for them I would like to have a raid where those guys are guaranteed some nice stuff if we kill her rather than rolling and sometimes coming away with nothing material for their time.

I had every intention of making a long winded reply to those ppl who disagree with my ideas and methods but after reading yours and other people's heart warming comments i decided that you guys had said all and more of what i wanted to say anyway but when its others saying it you dont feel you are on your own with your opinion (if you knwo what i mean hehe). I felt quite glowwy inside actually but enuff of the soft soppy stuff lol

I dont do dragon raids for the rewards, I do them cos i love it - its fun (apart from the stress lol) and I get to meet new ppl making (for me) a new dimension to the game which i find thoroughly enjoyable spoilt only occasionally by a few ppl who dont read my posts or cba

so... rambling over... lol. I had thought about doing this change of raid for a while but with the 100% success rate of my normal raids kinda got into the groove but I have every intention of making this a success if it is at all possible and also have no intention of losing my "opted group" raids 100% success rate

Only non-traditional class in group2 I think he was in, but never jeopardised (sp?) the situation And we had ae dmg add through the fight which was cool.
