Wish they took people into beta after when they signed up, i signed up the same day it was possible.

i got a mail saying i was accepted a while back.but beta only starts somewhere in may so you might still get a mail from them
and if i don't like it you can use my account

tho that mail was misstyped, you werent accepted into beta as such, just added to the beta queue, and was requested to update your details.

Ie noone has been entered into beta .

/em is off to find the dev post explaining the whole bit.

No such luck for me with the "On the Queue" thingy.
But still , got Planetside to play beta with now.
