DR raid?

Anyone able to run a dragon raid this coming friday evening? I join with shield hero/ani/chanter if yes.

because I dont know how too, if i did i would run the raid np at all.

i thing me and ravenbourn was the only 2 running em and we both on US atm.. so dought it to be honest ^^ but hi good lucky enyway hope u get one set...

dragon raid you need 3 animists preferable with a fop druid at each but you could do it with tinderboxes.

then 1 very very strong tank group. to take out the dragon make sure you have active healers nad people with decent fire resists (so active druid for each one with at least red heat resists)

then tank the dragon down let the animists shroom up at the three entrances into the dragon so they kill the messenger if it gets out.

I think you will need shield tank to taunt the dragon while other tanks do positionals.

I wouldnt recomend doing the dragon unless your templated with as much resits and hit points then just basically tank the dragon down watching out for his pbaoe ie when he does a broadcast message like "culderach stares at xxxx" make sure that person runs away from the tank group and then get rezzed up either with perfect rez or 100% at least. Then get them back into the fight.

Also watch out at around 25% i think he starts stunning and pbaoing more make sure that everyone is next to the dragon even healers (if they are activly healing) if not he stares at anyone out of his currrent range.

i think u got some stuff from mid dragon in there

---> spirit dmg so u'll need a warden along
---> at 25% or is it 10 and 20 (been long for me) he ae nukes (again spirit)
---> when someone dies a yellow copy (just similar race and naked) wil bugger u
---> u'll know the messenger thingie and the purp-con reinforcements

could switch out a hero for an animist for to hits bonus so long as both the warden and hero know how to switch guard

killing the dragon is pretty easy tbh, so long as people run if they get glared and you scatter when he pbaoe's. add group makes sure no messengers get out and clear any adds.

spirit resists are important too. make sure everyone in the tank group stays in melee range so they dont get glared. the main tank wont be able to keep agro all the time so the hero must be able to switch instantly to the one taking damage.

i am back playing excal part time but i am afraid i cant commit to running a dragon raid as US/Merlin is my priority.

I can come in on my druid he isnt fully toa'd yet but has DI2. Depending when it gets done. Also i'll bring my chanter along since i want to get dragon title on him.


Also as was said above the DR raid isnt hard u just need the right numbers of classes.
