Downloading Problem

Hi AGAIN!

I have a problem with downloading certain patches for games.
One really annoying problem is my Battlefield 1942 patch. I have downloaded the patch from a coupld of places and when I run the patch, it comes up with an error saying the file is corrupt. Can someone help me

Anyway is it just Battlefield patchs?

And if you are more specificly on about DC patchs that is infamous for being ..... well shite. It has a flaky installer that is not happy about moving

If it is just Battlefield then it a BF client prob rather then your connection etc.

Yeh at the moment it does seem to be just BF, and I have also had problem with DC

I had this with one of the BF patches (1.4 or 1.45, I cant remember). No matter where I downloaded it from, it always said it was corrupt. I dont know if my ISP was cacheing a corrupt copy on one of their edge servers or something.

In the end I had to download it at work

This was the only file Ive ever had a problem with...

The only problem is downloading ot at work is getting it home Dont think IT will be happy to put it on a CD

I just done a memory test and hmmm I seem to have 175,000 problems hmm not good They are all in the 358.2Mb area too.

Sould this cause :-
a) My DL To be corrupt
b) My Comp to restart randomly? (I have checked for viruses and nothing)
