Rant Downloading DAoC

So guys, i've been trying to DL DAoC and it just went tits up.


I tried getting it from gamershell and it was doing well at around 250kb/s but then it just died. Dunno why, so i installed FlashGet DL manager and now im getting like 100kb/s ffs.

Does anybody know a reliable site to get it from?


Dont say Dark Age of Camelot because it'll never get downloaded at 20kb/s.

Do you have the original discs? If yes, install all what you have, then run the Freeshard client but set your location as USA. It will patch you all the way up to the latest version (that they are using), but it will also be on the USA client.

Once you have done that you should be able to run the cata .exe file and it will patch the rest from the official servers.

I have DR disks, but without catacombs DR disks are useless lol

i played it last christmas and i downloaded it off the daoc website, american and just downloaded the trial version as thats got cata already in it so all done, bam if that client is faster? could give it a go
