i downloaded dr with the update client, was 50kb sec, fecking slow when you need to dl 3gb.

I recently took my comp around to a friends and updated DAoC from Darkness Rising to patch 1.86 and it was a fairly large dl I can tell ya. The dl rates were very unstable and yes quite slow.

But to answer your question, I've no idea :S

wouldnt recommend that, I've had some mismatches when ive patched down from USclient to EU.

Stop complaining, installed SWG a 2 years back, started downloading, completed the patching after 5 days 10 hours and some odd minutes.. Due to the patcher crashing every 20 min, had a download rate of 2 kb/s. Played for 2 hours then uninstalled the shite and cracked the cd's..
