Download TOA

Can anyone tell me why for example TOA hasnt been put out for download by Mythic or GOA? I mean, wouldnt it be better for those with broadband to be able to pay for the game the same way they pay for the subscription then download the game? It would make it alot easier for people not living in larger cities where they dont sell TOA..

Prolly cuz they are lasy and\or stupid.

All online games should be downloadable imo.

Could you imagine the download time when 10,000 people log on to download ~1Gig of data.

The cost of providing a network that could cope with that ammount of traffic at a decent download speed would be astronomicle.

You can download it, I did it on toa release day . But its useless without a cd-key so...

I think you need the camelot.exe and the file with the server ip.... + CD-Key.
Run the .exe and it starts patching/downloads any file you don't have = the whole game. Of course, you'll need someone to send you the files and CD-key, but you can download the rest from the patch servers.

My CD-Drive didn't like the ToA CDs, I only managed to install half the game from CD1... and downloaded the rest.
