I have a doubt about RTCW league's rules concerning r_intensity cause i'm begining to see some pub servers with max r_intensity 1.And since i use 3 i was wondering how your servers are configured. Also take the chance to say that using r_intensity is not cheating and all ppl are free to use it.Thanks :)

PunkBuster is not enabled on the league servers and won't be for the foreseable future. It has too many potentially delaying issues.

The rules are in for an overhaul over the next couple of days to put to rest some queries that have arisen.

The one that gets me is change team members as were a bunch on newbies :)

do we inform admin we would like to sub a player or can we do it without permission as long as we only ever have 6 on at a time.

Providing that the substituted member is an official registered
member of your clan, then I personally can't see any reason
why you shouldn't be able to substitue prior to the start.

Not enabling punkbuster is in my humble opinion a bad decision. Delaying you mean like pple who have hacks that will be banned from the server? If you don't put any cvarsettings up, then normal pple won't get banned => no delay

By potentially delaying issues I mean the bugs and problems PunkBuster has been found to yield at certain times of use.

when i play it tells me i got corrupted and impure.pak3 files which is bollox found a cure for it tho cut n pasted wolf directory from programfiles to c directory

For one recent example. I've had others also talk of such problems, which at match time could delay a match and others following it for considerable periods of time. Which would in turn lead to defaults and then subsequent complaints about defaults ("Not my fault, it was PB" etc). Even if it's only one or two players who experience the problem, the confusion and delays could potentially hold up all the following matches and default that one.

We know all the players in the league as they're registered with BW and the league so if a player is caught or accused of cheating either by our admin or another player, the head admin can review the demos and evidence and take action accordingly. Which is much more effective than a PB kick/ban that no-one knows where a player is, what's going on, and it may not be their fault etc.
