surely thats gonna be a fucker when vista and all its features come out?

"Among the provisions of the Police and Justice Bill 2006, which gained Royal Assent on Wednesday, is a clause that makes it an offense to impair the operation of any computer system. Other clauses prohibit preventing or hindering access to a program or data held on a computer, or impairing the operation of any program or data held on a computer."

i thought thats what vista is all about.

I've not looked, but I'm sure the actual legal jargon will be more specific.

Which is a shame, because on its own the sentence “an offense to impair the operation of any computer system” could probably outlaw all DRM and copy protection.

Denial of Service attack... not MS-DOS.

Sheesh, you'll still be able to "Format C:" (*Laughs*)

*Wonders when people will realise "format C:" won't ever work? Due to the disk being in use? :D

what about del tree c:\ /y ?

Isnt it supposed to be del tree C:\*.* /y ?

Or is that just when youre using the simple del command since the tree bit would wipe the disk anyway?
