Well it's on the xbox and apparently it runs and looks pretty damn good. It's not that much of a stretch of the imagination that it could be ported to the PS2.

Not really PS2 doesn't suppost the right Lighting and Texture effects the Xbox can support. Plus the loading times wud be terrible and be like every six steps u took in the Game world. Look round a corner ...Loading... Open a door ...Loading..., Get gun out to shoot something ...Loading...

U get the idea, the Xbox Doom 3 is only looks like a mid range PC, so a PS2 one wud be awful.

Don't really get the point of doom3 on anything but PC really. On anything else it's just another FPS, but with the lights turned down.

PS2 is not as powerful as xbox, no matter how good GT4 looks. The way you make things work well for PS2 is completely different to xbox, so they would have to basically start from scratch (and they couldn't do the fancy lighting in any event).

I didn't say it was more powerful either.... Take your own advice about reading.
Besides my point was that PS2 and xbox are very different so you can't just port doom3 to ps2 without restarting from scratch. And it can't do per-pixel lighting, which is kinda what doom3 is sold on.
