Was in Costco yesterday,they've got a full size replica Donkey Kong arcade machine for a grand.

I mean it didn't even seem to play other games, just Donkey, which is either naff or really cool.

Now a MAME cabinet would be nice.

Look around on Google foe self build projects for arcade machines and other related items. Had the link last year for a site that instructs you how to build arcade machine cabinets and how to set the hardware up. Supposedly, you can download the ROM module for the games off the net, the only difficult bit is finding the buttons and joysticks cheaply (£20 for joystick and 3 arcade style buttons last i checked).

I'll look for the site again tomorrow and post it if i find it again. As for the Costco option, don't bother, an e-bay aution usually gets you better for less (if your lucky).

Cant find that old web-site i'm afraid. Pity, as it gave you instructions on how to make console-cabinets (easy to use console, tv and controler cabinet that doubles as a table. nice).

Will keep my eye's open for another site though.

lol I have a weekend job in GAME and we got donkey konga in today but not for sale just yet... we stuck it out on the front desk for people to bash... Tbh I think it's all novelty and would get boring in a few hours but that's just me
