I have ofc given up the hope that it ever would come back, Never been a big fan of new frontiers.uke:

I heard there is some emu based daoc server up with decent crowd and REAL classic but i forgot the name of it......anyone know?

Because classic iisnt really called classsic server people adapted that name. It is just alternative rule server

couldn't agree more !

New Frontiers might not be the best expansion but it beats the old frontiers , old emain was a crowded zergfest , most of the times you where forced to form a zerg just to pass amg , sometimes just to get past mid/hib zerg that camped apk (and yea Mids had the same problem with Alb zerg).
And all the waiting for grp members that just missed port etc..

Mythic´s name on the new servers were Alternate ruleset. It was the vncrowd that named it classic and in the end Mythic decided to run with that name because everyone was saying classic about the servers anyway

The only thing i have to say about OF vs NF is......... nobody ask me and if they would my opinion would never be in the today's project tbh they ask none if they wanted NF and if they ask now some question's when u log on its because i guess peeps leaving this game and they have no money to pay their daily coffee + newspaper that they used to drink/read before NF because servers was overcrowded....... another thing is why peeps need second acc's? buffbots yes..... extra acc = extra money = GoA happy so ...... silence.......... :<

People always want to go back to "the good old days" however the good old days are different for everyone ... Zerkers want the prenerf la back savages want quadhits back etc etc etc etc.

And for the millionth time .. like Corran said ... Mythic never called it a Classic server they called it a non toa server ... the people called it classic.
