Does size matter?

Just browsing thru my HD and found my Half Life folder takes up 900Mb! I know I have a lot of models, maps and Mods, but 900!! Is that normal?
Yeah, I know this is boring, but I don't think this forum's getting used enuff so I thought I'd post sumthin

Thats fine, but as my HL folder is only 350mb

My q2 Directory makes up for it by being 1.4gb

Funny, the install is only 212.

941Mb in me HL folder.. 1.34Gb in my Sierra one altogether... eeeeeeeeep!

Plus about 850Mb of downloads on a separate hard drive altogether (ta, work)

i have to say up till 3 days ago i'd have won with a whopping 1.7gb hl dir, but now i've shaved nearly a gig off it so i can play other games too, shame too see *all* the single player maps go , but it was well worth it >;P and the sp was shiiiiiit anyhow!

so...any who can say without lying they can beat 1.7gb (on a 4gb drive, that was paritioned 2 2gb, hence the shaving)

Bugger, that, I thought I had the highest, at 1.1gb...shat!!
My HL dir, is just packed to the brim with sodding cs/tfc/dm bmps...looks like a mass cleanup is in order.
