Topic says it all... is weapn durability factored into the con*qua*(capped dps)=effective dps equation?

Correct me if I'm wrong: no, the condition doesn't affect the effective dps calculation. BUT it does affect the actual damage when you hit someone, as the in-combat damage calculations (well, they use lookup tables, but still) factor in more variables.

condition has the same effect as quality - if it's below 100% you're suffering.

Durability shouldn't (at least from the info on the herald I've seen) have any effect - other than to say 'your sword only has 2 weeks to live' or whatever ;)

Only thing to know about durability is that it decreases over time, especially if you keep repairing a lot. So better not run to the weaponsmith when the con has sunk to 98%. Another hint: Ask a weaponcrafter to repair your weapons. A lot cheaper and he can do it on the spot, given he has his tools with him. I always do, only recently repaired a full groups weaponry right in the barrows ;)
