Dodgy Aim?

'lo all,

Wasn't to sure whether to post this here or the Barryserver bit, so be gentle with me...

The problem is that on my rented Barryserver I've had players complain that the aiming seems to be 'off', and that one side can deliver almost perfect shots by just spraying bullets, and that it's much harder to aim when playing on the other team - any thoughts on this?

If you want to check it out for yourself the server is:
BarryServer - Exiled Gamers 213.221.175.98:27017

Any thoughts?

Commander,

Sorry - not possible,

What you might need to consider is tht one team is good, the other is crap.

I wasn't complaining, lord no, I was on the winning team... why would I complain?

It's just a couple of other players who had being playing CS for longer than me (much longer) said that something was not quite right...

I shall inform them of your esteemed words of wisdom.

Cheers

If there is a lot of packet loss, but with a fairly stable ping, then it can feel like bullets are going missing. Though it would affect both sides equally, and normally only very good players will notice...and Throdgrain notices too.

Expanding on what Will states (hes been out of the loop for a while ;) )

Your ISP can alos affect the "feel" of the server (relating to choke and loss)

If they are not monitoring their connection (via net_graph 3) it would look like they were "missing shots" of failing to register.

Happens to me too :(
