DoD <--- Some Statements and Questions

Right,

I have (thanks to the badger himself) become completely hooked on DoD (not least because as a so-so CSer I can kick ass on the Para maps!).

The latest version is excellent but I have one statement and one question (though the two are interlinked - sort of).

Statement.

Where the blinking h*ll was everybody last night. I appreciate that it was the first day of subscription but there was no-one on the servers. So anybody who is a subscriber and plays DoD see you there asap ...

Question.

Given that no-one was there I (slaps hand for being naughty) went to BY's servers. Unfortunately and following subsequent investigation, their version of VAC has certain issues whereby XP and Win 2000 users crash between map changes (and the worst type of crash it is to). Given this problem, are BW on a different version (may be hard to answer)? and if so please tell me you'll not change until Valve sort the problem out.

(There was a question in there - honest Guv'r).

Please don't make DoD harder on BW than it is, especially as I think I can replace my CS addiction with another ...

Ive played on the BY servers and not had any problems, so Im afraid I cant help you with that one m8
Personally , if theres no one on BW I go to Jolt (arrggh !) , but there you go

if you dont join a srv, no1 else will do, I joined an empty BW srv the other night and within a few minutes it was almost full

nah my point was they were all watching to find a srv with someone in, put wouldnt be the first one to join, once that happened everyone joined

Ah, it's like School Disco's all over again! Problem is if you go first to 'dance' and no one else joins in, you look a prat. Then everybody points their finger at you and calls you names, and you cry, and. ...

But I don't remeber ever wanting to dance at the school discos. I only ever went to get off with loadsa birds ... although I do remember makin a tit of myself on the floor a few times :/
