DOD scripts?

Just went for a quick game of DOD, and while dead I noticed someone using the Axis assault rifle and racking up the kills, and noticed that he didn't seem to have much recoil. I thought this could be down to the HL first person thing not showing recoil properly, but after speccing different people for awhile I'm pretty sure he/she was using a script to reduce the recoil. After speccying most of the high scorers, I'm sure they had less recoil too. Maybe I'm being paranoid here, but are there scripts around to reduce the recoil at all? I remember there being one for CS many a beta ago, but I'm sure Valve eradicated that.

Basically, what I'm getting at is:

Do no (or low) recoil scripts exist for DOD?
Do most people use them?
Is it considered cheating?
What shall I have for lunch?

I'm asking out of curiosity as I'm really getting into the mod lately, and I've always been a vanilla player. Only ever used pak's to change the HUD in Q2, no scripts at all. Nothing in Q3, nothing (except buy script) in CS or any other game. I don't intend to change that either, I can play well enough without, thank you very much.

Im sure such a script would be cheating m8, I certainly havent got one. The only thing i have is the weapon change using mousewheel thing, thats all. The garrand recoil is big tho, I dont like myself. The Kar it dont mater, so long as you hit the bloke he's dead anyway. No need for a second shot !

Yeah m8, I always use the rifles anyway. Unless I'm feeling nasty and want to use the MG

I just hate the idea that the only reason these people are killing me with support infantry weapons (which ideally are for laying down fire, not accurately killing people) is because they've got fuck all recoil. So utterly gay :/

I know that when they first introduced the MG's, anti-recoil scripts were rife. So they updated to 2.1 to solve it, or so I thought (I haven't played since 1.3 myself, so I couldn't say).

well lying down basically removes recoil on all the rifles

A recoil lowering script wouldnt reduce what you physically see (the gun going up etc..).

The Kar doesnt have much recoil, everyshot will be spot on due to the amount of time spent reloading...
