ROFL @ the fly aliens....think the director has watched too much Art Attack / Blue Peter

Michelle Ryan would definitely get it

All I was thinking was "Dr.Who Does Pitch Black".

There was a true "hiding behind the sofa" moment.
My 3 yr old was scared by the fly people. :)

Just watched it....enjoyed it very much....its not outstanding as some other episodes have been but it was a good romp and scary enough in bits.
I liked Lee evans, thought he was good. Tennant, as always, was fab. I like Ryan, but disagree she would be a good companion...too cocky and clever. All in all, good fun.
THe preview for the next one looks pretty good!

Yes, but i woluld take Ryan over Tate anyday

The Dr's companion in the last 2 episodes that will be broadcast over christmas will be Bernard Cribbins, Donna's grandfather

Yay Cribbins -see I told ya Ez -he IS the Master, just you wait!!!:p

Thought Ryan was ok, but I would actually take Tate (when she got better) over her any day. You boys only like her cos she is more shagable. I agree with Myc.

The trailer does look fab for the next one. I miss it on Saturdays.

How is it none of you have mentioned Lee Evans, I wasn't expecting him to turn up in it and when they did that shot of him with the weird glasses on and that funny face he does I was laughing like a mad man.

Yes Lee Evans was great, i never used to like him, but it must be my age, i like his stand up stuff now, and did anyone ever see the film he did called 'Funny Bones' set in Blackpool (i think) with a cameo from Jerry Lewis. Quite dark but i thought it was brilliant

Lee Evans was great, as was Tennant and the bird.

Episode was grade A fucking shit tho. Writing's getting worse as it goes along :(

Aye, complete theft of story, take superman flying round earth to turn back time, then switch superman for a swarm and time for rift creating and voila... Someone here will likely be able to point out if its was done before Superman did it but still, OH COME ON! etc.

Lovely episode to keep the Dr Who addiction going.

In all short.

Only thing i dislike;

The always occuring, Dr Who patented, "Companion Tease" :(

tbh - I thought it was the worst episode ever. Even worse than the McCoy one with Bertie Bassett :/

Who is the current Doctor Who?

Yes.

The jokes on Shooting Stars are the best thing about Dr. Who
