Like the one that the common user won't wait for a page to load over 8 seconds.

Or that most click refresh after 5 seconds.

I would've thought it would depend on what people are looking for, the importance of it and how many times they've refined thier search or tried a different search engine.

Facts like this seem silly to me as more often than not they're misleading, or taken out of context.

Unless there's something very specific I'm after, or my search only returns a few pages, if I can't find what I want in the first page, I'll re-phrase / narrow my search
