Do skalds need Charisma in template?

Do skalds need Charisma in template to increase their DD dmg?

I am thinking Yes, but a few templates I've seen do not have it...

and it gets u closer to cap so it increases dmg unless ur killing grays

The damage increase per point is crap though, so don't sacrifice any other stats for it (not that you need to nowadays unless youre doing a super-cheap template).
