Do poll threads come to top if someone votes ?

Normally when I read forums , Thread become marked as read , but today I noticed 2 threads appear as unread , even though I read the last post in that thread !!

For example :

Meeks last posted in here 17th September 2007, 09:30 PM but it comes to top and the forum lists as the post was made - Today 06:52 PM
by Meekx .

yup someone voting in a pole bumps the thread to the top as unread.

Dosent happen in other forums ...

found my time was out on this PC ( BB machine as Main blew up ) ...but that would make all threads out ...so not the reason.

to think I been a member here for years ( though only in this name for a couple ) and was on Barry's too ...and never noticed this :/

iirc its one of the options in the admin control panel built into the back end of vbulletin which controls how the forums work. I've not managed vbulletin for a couple of years tho but overall its the best forum software imo. Other forum software like phpbb or invisions etc has a different control panel and different options and could be setup to not bump poll posts which is why you may have not noticed it before
