FFS!

I was playing a nice game on BW, capped the flag 2x, destroyed enemy generators 1x and was on my merry way.

So then there is this bomber waiting for tailgunner next to the vehicle pad. I get a shrike and jump in but the bomber on the bomber is fucked up and starts shooting my shrike and blows it up. I'm left with 30% health and say "ass". Thats all, nothing more, nada. And I just start heading back to inv station.

So then he starts a vote on me?!?!? I say "What did I do?" (nothing more, cant stress that enough), and within next 2 sec Im off the server! WTF?

So unless you know what the hell you are voting on or someone at least gives you a reason and looks like reasonable lad DO NOT VOTE! DO NOT VOTE! DO NOT VOTE!

WAH!

(how long until I can join the server again?)

I second that!

Please don't think you have to vote, or that you have to vote 'Yes' because everyone else is.

There's always a good chance that the person who started the vote is more of an idiot than the person being voted for [I like to think we're all idiots, just some more than others :) ].

It can totally ruin a game for someone if they were being a useful/helpful player and then they suddenly get voted off because some unthoughtful person decided that he/she was the most important person on the team and anyone getting in their way doesn't deserve to play in their game.

I would just like to say that i was on the server that Amything is on about and what actually happened is that he went beserk killed 29 of his teammates and then started singing on the ingame comm channel "nellie the elephant" i think? :D
Nahhhhhhh i don't know what happened i just saw the vote and would like to say that i didn't vote one way or the other, based on the fact that i didn't see anything and he had played a team game up until i saw the vote. So sorry you got booted M8 but "it wasn't me" (said in the style of shaggy) :)

I believe most admins are setting their kick for around 5 minutes.

Narr, i just vote yes everytime now, unless it's a change mission vote. Kick um all i say:p

Iv'e seen complete lamers not get kicked, and decent players go to the sword, just because there good;)

Amything if you're talking about when I called the vote then it was because you shot teammates off the vehivle pad 3 times when they took slightly too long to order a vehicle (like, give people a few seconds ffs eh) or when they ordered a bomber and you wanted a shrike... I did watch to make sure it wasn't just a mistake and you repeated it.

Now if I misinterpreted the situation I apologise, but it did look to me like you were getting overly impatient with people who may not have been as fast/skilled as you, which is a bit unfair I think. Also when you returned to the server I did explain to you why I called the vote but you didn't respond to discss it.

I dont claim to be a "fast/skilled" player. Never played T1 and a newbie just like everyone else at this stage.

I did respond, I said something of the lines of "I have never stolen or shot people off the pad in my life".

Which is true to the best of my knowledge.

Thinking about this now (god this is getting old :) ) I might have taken a vehicle that had been sitting there and looked like it was not being used. But that shrike the bomber shot down (was that you?) was mine, no doubt about that. But I do wait for vehicle pad and get in line and I honestly have no idea what you are talking about :( But if I did steal a vehicle, I did not do it for the reasons you outlined, but because I thought someone had ordered it, was a heavy, didnt want it or whatever. If not, I apologise.

But I have never ever shot people off the pad, Im very patient in regards to people that have played less than me. We are are all newbies at some stage and newbie bashing is one of the lamest thing people do IMO.

Please ALL of you remember that there are a LOT of newbs out there and have a LITTLE bit of patiance with them, no matter how stupid they can be :)

Yeh I don't know you regulars too well (yet at least), I'm Icelandic, little market=not many players so I play on BW.

Actually I can play on US and UK servers with pretty much equel ping, but I like you UK players better :p

Just need to find one from japan, and china then I have the complete set :D

No, I certainly didn't shoot at anyone, and like I said Amything, apologies if I read the situation wrongly, and you're right, this is getting old, let's drop it :)

BTW, I went to Iceland for my honeymoon, lovely place (bit fkin cold though...) :)

If someone should mention in their T2 guide *cough* SAS *cough* that as soon as you spawn a vehicle you should move it off the pad straight away and park it somewhere while you wait for a crew :)

Its to easy to vote ffs all you have to do is press one button easy where as T1 i couldnt be assed to press 2 buttons
