There was a recently reply on this on the BW part of the BW news page along the lines of new system coming soon that will offer qw/q2 along with other games.

We had a small problem with a corrupted file (which has never happened before in the entire 2+ years life of the booking system) but this has now been fixed. Apologies to the clans and individuals who lost bookings over the last couple of days. The minimum time for making a booking is around 25 minutes before the slot start again, though to be safe you should always book at least an hour beforehand.

On other similar news, thanks to the hard work by DrChris and Freedy, the new booking system is now in closed alpha, with test bookings being carried out online this week. I`ve seen the software in action and it does look good. The next stage after this will be to run a beta test, probably with Quake3 support initially, though other games will follow soon after. The old booking system for QuakeWorld and Quake2 will remain available until support for those games moves to the new system.
