DO and LA affair at crau- Keepclaiming ethics

Well this post is ment to be a serious discussion.
So as starter of the topic i say this.

No bad language
No spamming hello to peeps.
No insults.
No pointing fingers. (like OMG you stupid)
No posting if not discussing the topic (Soz Novamir no trolling).


Oki heres the story from a DO eyes. BTW plz read whole post.

This morning after Servern been down there was some Keeps unclaimed.
1 of them was crau.

On as someone said " Crau unclaimed"
And making a /gc who revealed 10 DO memebrs online.
WEll we said "lets get and Claim Crau ?"

On /as then we heard
"we claiming it" from Wuren i beleive
Quick check on LA members and we noticed only 6 or maybe 7. Not 8.

WEll we packed our shit togheter to DL
And waited there until 8 in FG DO.
We saw LA there and they was just 3 from start and at end maybe 5 or 6.
Checked once again /who arian and now 9 members but 1 in bri leith and 1 somewhere else.

But off they run. And we in close pursuit.

We thinking. hmmm they have alts at crau ? But then remember, Cant b, LA dont allow alts (?)

Well we get behind due to oos etc.

To make the story short we arrive at Crau and runs to lord.
Up the stairs and we c LA there.
Thinking ooh well they dont have 8 members we claim.
(LA claim relogging etc etc But we checked /who arian and didnt c 8 members in emain so)

WE get the keep. and the arguing begins...

"we had reloggers" Counting again and yes they only 7 but up comes a char from stairs,,,,,,, Tankster i think maybe wrong.
Strange place to relogg..

And when checking closer i noticed that...hmmm wait a minute...Sirene she LA ? and Dexa also LA ?

At this point LA spamming Twinkies alot.

We decide to release control due to spamming. Not worth the hassle in some members view.

I asked LA if Sirene and dexa was LA forever or just fro the claim.. And Wuren says just for the claim..

So lets get down to questions.
1. Laralyn claimed that LA should have keep because they said so on /AS.
I think thats rather stupid way really due to all guilds not in CF allience.
And if we go b that rule the fastest typer wins keeps....

2. LA was there first. But then again it wasnt "LA" really. It was 6 LA and 2 outsiders. IF 2 guilds race for a keep to claim Shouldnt the Guild with 8 own members and claim first have claim rights ?

(it was clearly a race or why did LA invite outsiders to join for 5 min when thay had atm 9 members online) (and they had noticed a FG DO assembling in DL or else they blind)

2b. If it goes that first guild memebr in lord room gets claim right then 2 bards with end adn twist run fast as hell and claim right and then sit and wait for rest to get there. Or even logg an alt in and claim rights.



I think that first full guildgroup gets claimrights. If no else guild want to claim at given time then its np inviting other peeps in guild just for the invite.



Okie Now we just need a LA member that was there to respond and tell us how they saw this episode.
Then we can discuss.

BTW this is seen from my eyes so not whole story, and maybe missed some. So plz fill up the gaps.


BTW this is only in matter of hibernia keep thats unclaimed btw. I think the guild that brings rams and do most work on keeps have claimrights otherwise..

Theres 24 keeps in the frontiers theres plenty of keeps you can claim.

It was not a fucking race? But you are just trying to get it into it. And no DL was empty at the time, we even had a ld between TNN - DL and sent thanatlos to pick him up.

They said on /as they were gonna claim it, u did not contacted any1 disagreeing. U still raced em to crua and claimed it altho they were there first, had announced the claim and told u they had reloggers etc...

This is plain silly, as far as ive seen LA has been the most crua-active guild lately, taking, claiming, upgrading and defending it. They deserve claiming it and they did right (from ur post looks)



Btw no1 flamed CF when claim-patch arrived and they landed a claim-4-life spell on crim... They would have deserved it more but ofc, no1 had nothing against em.

Thats why im asking.

We seem to have diff ethics and lets try to sort out whats "right" and whats wrong.
I think DO made some big misstakes.
WE should have said on /as that we would try also.

But in your opinion the one fastes on /as is the one that have claim rights ?

In your opinion the guild that invites peeps to guild then kick them out get to have claimrights before a FG guildgroup ?

We (well me) never figured that a big and well orginazed guild as LA should invites peeps just to claim a keep..

BTW yes we saw them at Lord. But you must consider that we didnt think there was a fg LA there.
WE acted on the conclusion that FIRST 8 members of guildgroup there should have claimrights.
AND TBH if a someone from LA claims anything to b truth i cant really say ill trust that person and that from personal experience...

I dont think anyone has preclaim on a keep except a guild who bothers to bring rams and organise a retake to get it, however what you did I consider lame and that you even try to rush there to get it before shows alot more about you then us.
