DLL file problems

Hello all

Ive downloaded and installed the HL + CS patch. the problem is when i try to enter a game i get the following error message:

Could not connect to server
Reason: Yor .dll

[cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the servers.

Im not sure what the problem is, any help would be great.

DO u have retail CS ?

If so installing the hl pacth will cause errors as you need the retail pacth, not cs1.3 and hl1108.
