Advice Divinity Original sin vs Pillars of Eternity (coop games)

Dear all,

I'm looking to play a co-op game with my boyfriend and both games seem very interesting although I know not much about either other than what I've read on here and elsewhere. I like the look of Divinity but I also love everything Paradox makes or publishes, so I'm not sure what to pick. Any advice will be appreciated!

Some other great smaller co-op games are in the steam sale right now
(such as Portal 2, Monaco and Don't starve together).

Well, I feel stupid, I just assumed PoE was co-op and didnt see Tilda asking the same in the other thread. It's not! Meh. :|

Out of those two Divinity is definitely the better choice for co-op

I've had fun with co-op in Trine 2, Forced and Orcs Must Die! 2.
