disappointment!

well after a good month of play at project gotham i finally completed the kudos challenge (that must be something like 120+ challenges!) spread over 12 difficulty levels.

After completely the endurance season you go onto the invitational season were you recieve the super fast incredible handling porshce carrerra.

All 12 challenges of the invitational season were pure entertainment though, 12 of the best courses on a game which included long fast straights and sweeping corners.

The 2 Style challenges needed mad skills to get round without hitting those cones and the one on one with the viper rt 10 wasnt too easy either..

After completeing all these .. what do i get

Blummin nothing! except "you can now listen to any radio station in any city" Big wow! i dont even use the radio. Then the ending credits came on.

But, im hoping that this is because i have yet to complete quick race and arcade mode.. hopefully they will give me what i deserve!

lol here we go , yea cause that game has got no good ending, it means the consoles shit, erm NO!
Most games now days all have shite endings , if endings at all. Now days u only seem to get good endings if its a FPS or something with a story.

Dont blame consoles its the games develovers. i can name countless games on all formats with, crap or no ending, extras.
They seem to think giving you an extra hard mode is enough, er just completed the game why would we want to do it all again on a harder setting

Nah, he's right, Games generally do have shit endings. Erm Deux Ex, one of my best games ever, gave me a quote. Nice. Or do you have to complete it on a stupidly difficult level to get anything resembling an animation?

SWIV on the Amiga had the worst ending ever IMO although it I now find it amusing.

SWIV for anyone who doesn't remember was an old school vertical scrolling shoot-em-up, like the classic 1942 arcade game.

After playing it for about 4-5 hours (no saves of course and it was a BITCH of a game) you defeat the end baddie, screen freezes and you get "Congratulations. You have won the war - now there are no more enemies to fight you are unemployed. Your P45 is in the post".

Er, did you actually complete it?

It has 3 proper endings!

I assume so, I merged with Helios, it gave me a quote and then the end credits
I know there are two other endings I could have gone for, but I had to delete the game to make me revise

I wasn't on the hardest difficulty level (I can't remember which I was on..) but it was a bit of a disappointment.

I can forgive it though, seeing as the way you play out the last branches is, like the rest of the game, expansive to say the least.
