Disappointing SotL raid

The Arvakr Faste raid last night was pretty cool. You guys managed to hold it for quite a while, well done Albs.

Personally, I had so much lag that Derric managed to hit me twice as I slammed all the damned 'select' keys to no effect. (I just wanna clear up that it wasn't skill on Derric's part).

Anybody know when the new gfx engine/expansion pack is released.. seems pretty lame that you can't just download the new engine without having to buy the expansion, though.

have been looking for 30 mins but cant find it, however the new NetImmerse Engine, is being patched to old versions of DAoC when SI is launched, tis not only a part of the expansion

sorry, just damn tired and my cincadian rhythm isnt what it should be and reading the "alb vs mid primetime discussion" makes me sick, it just wont end

but im just so tired when all realms has to throw dirt at each other when they made something good, sotl (I dont know if there was any other albs there) defended arvakr very good but surely you must take a threat so close to grallarhorn seriously and try to grab all mids you can to prevent you go closer

I quite agree tindel. The thread is a bit of light-hearted banter is all However, yes, some of the other threads re relics etc do get a bit serious and OTT.

I actually killed you 3 times at that defense
Also got you without PA at mmg when you ran to your friends after getting hit a few times
Btw..how much skill does it really take to hit someone climbing up a wall?

SHHHH don't break the myths about climb spot is easy prey, we assassins have an reputation to think off just as you always must act really nice and show off the leaper/creeping death rolll whenever you get the chance.

Have you never gotten dragged in front of some mage trying to make you cast the detect hidden or somehow activating the magical ability? I love it when they do that

PS Tip to make this effective is everytime you spot a stealther claim it was because of detect hidden that is just so über and just keep claiming how good it is until you have gotten rezz. Don't forget to defend it when the enemy assassin kills the rezzer, something like, uuuh it don't work as good while rez sick might do.

No it isnt, its one of the things you have to pay for.

[rant] lol make a game that lags this badly, and then make people pay to get decent FPS.. its a brilliant idea, they should do the same for counter-strike [/rant]

I thought you get the nice looks and all free, but if you want the new classes and regions, you have to buy the expansion.
