DirectX tools

[old.[GA] Shovel]

Anyone know where I can get them?
I got some DirectX tweaker and it allows you access to some tools, only It can;t find them. Are they already there or do I have to get them seperately?
and if the later: where from?

The DirectX 6.1 SDK contains, amongst samples, headers, binaries and libraries:

"Change properties for DirectX" control panel extension
DirectX Diagnostic tool
DirectDraw capability lister
DirectDraw test
DirectX Texture tool (generate DXTn compressed textures)
DirectX Device Viewer
Kill DDHelp
PPM2BMP convertor
.X (DX's 3d format) manipulators

which I could pass along individually to save you downloading the whole SDK. However, I don't know exactly what you're after; some of these are clearly aimed at debugging DirectX drivers and others at helping develop DirectX applications.

I'm guessing you're after performance tweaks -- in which case only the .cpl could be of any use, although there doesn't seem to be a lot you can do with it.

Shovel....most of them progs are in directx..it's just that proggy i gave u was for dx5 originally and i think dx6 combined some of em into Directx Diagnose.exe.
