Just passed the 1000 song mark on my iPod ... at last! :D

This, and some thread on the music forum, got me thinking about how much freakin' music I have er...liberated from THE MAN and how much it would have cost me if I had actually bought all of it.

Assuming that there are roughly 12 songs per album and each album costs around ~$12.50 (some cost more, some cost less...this is just a nice medium) I have accumulated around £1075 worth of music on my iPod alone. :s I can't even begin to calculate the amount of music I have on my HD/D because I haven't even downloaded half of it to my iPod. Yikes!

Liberating mp3s from the man is one of the best things I've ever read.

I don't think it counts if you have 1000 copies of The Locomotion by Kylie.

I have 1125 songs in iTunes. Must get an iPod at some point, but I have no money and no credit cards. Guess who is finally free of the cards! ME! Haha. Except now I have NOTHING except my 12" PowerBook and my massive wang. :(

Have fun tonight!

You disgust me with your attempts to do those hard working poor musicians out of their hard earned and well deserved money !!

Personally I target the actors union and liberate dvd's instead !!

I need to quit my job so I can listen to half the music I own ... LEGALLY OWN, I might add!!

What with work and sleep there isn't enough time in the day to lie back and listen to all these good tunes.

Nothing can beat the iPod, simply because iTunes is so damn good.

Anyways, now you can send them in to Apple and they'll replace the iPod for like $100 or some shit.

Lose all your songs, but oh well.
